Sneip was given to me by my good friend Anne-Karin who owns his sire, Kneist. That must be the nicest present of my life!
He was born in summer 2001 and is red dun like his sire Kneist. Now, in 2003 he was gelded(it's pretty hard to find boarding from across the atlantic for a stallion). He will grow up to be a champion. Watch out for us in the Norwegian Fjord Championships in 4 years or so!
Unfortunately, he is in Norway and I am in California. I guess we'll have to do something about that... One of us has to move, and I guess it will be me. Just not quite yet?

August 2002: He is such a sweetie, with great manners. No biting or stud behaviour yet...maybe he hasn't really understood that he's a stallion. I guess he'll work it out pretty soon now! In the background you see Brigid teaching manners to Sneip's pasture buddy Mattis.
