Quinn the dressage horse
This picture is from our first horse trial at Travis Air Force base. Quinn was still a little rotund and his training wasn't all that solid yet. But he had just learned to jump with gusto, which he proved by jumping the dressage rail, eliminating us from the start! But we finished the other phases anyway, with clear cross-country, so I was very proud of him, and he got lots of attention!
I just bought a real dressage saddle for him, which might help me with my riding position - and I seem to need it. Quinn sure looks good, though!
